2016 Event

In July 2016, JWG hosted a RegTech Capital Markets Conference. The day was a resounding success with participants from across the industry converging to discuss the future of RegTech and how it can provide a new path to safety for managing regulatory obligations.

The day kicked off with an introduction from JWG’s CEO and the chair for the day’s events, PJ Di Giammarino. In the wake of Brexit, he focused on the potential for RegTech to offer a solution for managing the ‘mother of all change programmes’ and the ways in which the RegTech agenda could be progressed. We were then very pleased to welcome Nick Cook, the Head of Data and Operations at the FCA, who gave the keynote address on ‘Making RegTech Real’. Offering interesting insights into the current state of affairs from a regulators’ perspective, many attendees commented that this was a highlight of the day.

We are proud to say that over 150 delegates, director level or above, from 30+ investment firms were in attendance last July.
