About the Speaker
Shivaji Dasgupta studied physics at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi, India. In 2009 he obtained his doctorate from the Technical University of Munich. He is a lecturer at the International School of Management (ISM) in Munich.
Shivaji Dasgupta has been with Deutsche Bank since 2018 and is responsible for data strategy, customer data lifecycle and for the design and implementation of technology for ESG solutions. In his role he works on the group and divisional data strategy and steers the division’s initiatives for implementation with the technology divisions, including cloud divisions. Since 2020 he has been a member of the Executive Committee for Digitalization at the European Banking Federation in Brussels. Since 2021 he has been on the Advisory Board of Velotix in Tel Aviv (startup for data access along regulatory requirements based on artificial intelligence). Before joining Deutsche Bank, Shivaji Dasgupta was Chief Data Officer at Versicherungskammer in Munich and Senior Vice-President of Data architecture and analytics at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. From 2009 to 2015 he worked at the management consultancy McKinsey, most recently as Senior Engagement-Manager
