About the Speaker
Tim Rowe has been working on sustainable finance at the FCA since June 2021. During this time, Tim has overseen the publication (in July 2021) of our letter to the chairs of authorised fund managers regarding the design, delivery and disclosure of ESG and sustainability-related funds and the production of a number of other FCA publications. Prior to this, Tim undertook a range of management roles in Policy, taking in our response to the Covid-19 crisis (focusing on mortgages and consumer credit), our preparations for Brexit and in Markets Policy (primarily on the negotiation of MiFID 2). Tim is an experienced international negotiator, having led working groups and task forces at both the European Securities & Markets Authority and the International Organization of Securities Commissions. Prior to his 11 years at the FCA, Tim worked in a number of management and regulatory roles for the London Stock Exchange Group.
