About the Speaker

Dan has held portfolio manager roles with Lord Abbett, Nomura Securities, Merrill Lynch and Omega Advisors. He is currently a Founder and President of Vetnos, an event market startup focused on sports gaming, a Founding Member of the RegTech Council, and the Founder of Eta Funds, a fintech startup focused on the application of sustainability to the Capital Asset Pricing Model. He began his career as a payments economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he did the first work on cryptocurrencies, and worked in the Markets Group. Education: Wesleyan University, University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins SAIS (Mandarin), and Temple University. He is admitted to the Bars of Pennsylvania, the D,.C. Court of Appeals, and Supreme Court of the United States. A dual citizen of the US and the EU (Germany), he also serves as Counsel to Green and Spiegel, the oldest immigration law firm in North America.
